family history and Essex+

To start from the beginning would be too boring, so to summarise: I started researching my family tree about ten years ago and quickly realised that I wasn't a trophy hunter - I wanted the history, as far as possible, behind the name of the ancestor which then led to an interest in Monumental Inscriptions, which led to a desire to photograph as many places as I could where that ancestor either lived or was interred, which led to an interest in Churches in general and the monuments therein, which led me to an attempt to document all the churches within my grasp at any one time but mainly based around Essex and Hertfordshire.

I suspect other subjects might creep in.
