Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire

St Andrew - Locked, no keyholder listed. Which is a shame since here's another south tower doubling as a porch as at Sacombe. Pevsner, however, is dismissive:

ST ANDREW, 1880, by Waterhouse. An unimaginative routine design, stone outside, nearly all happily covered by climbers, red brick inside. - PLATE. Chalice and three Patens, 1714.

St Andrew (2)

Interestingly Mee doesn't make reference to St Andrew (1881) in his entry but only references St James (qv).
